Privacy policy

Updated October 2, 2026

Here’s how TrickCam handles information when you use the app, invitations, this website, or contact support.

Your photos and personalization

Your portrait, name, chosen message, and camera photos are processed on your device. We don’t upload them to TrickCam’s servers. Camera access lets you take photos; Photos access lets you choose a portrait or save images. You can change permissions in iPhone Settings. Photos you save, device backups, and anything you share are also subject to the services you choose, such as iCloud or a messaging app.

Purchases and invitations

Apple processes payments. TrickCam checks purchase information to know when your pass is active; we do not receive your payment-card details.

Our invitation service keeps a device identifier, invitation decisions, referral counts, and earned-pass records to deliver rewards and prevent repeat claims. We use Apple’s device checks to help prevent abuse. This service does not receive your portrait, name, camera photos, or contacts.

This website and support

We don’t add advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this site. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site and invitation service.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments so we can help. Support email is forwarded through Cloudflare to our Microsoft-hosted inbox. Please send only information needed to explain your issue.

Sharing and storage

We don’t sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Apple, Cloudflare, and our email provider process information needed to provide their services. They may process it in countries other than your own. We may also disclose information when legally required or needed to protect people and the service.

Invitation and reward records are kept as needed to maintain balances and enforce lifetime reward limits. Expired code history is removed after its reuse waiting period. Support correspondence is kept while needed to help you and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You can remove local app content by deleting the app and delete saved photos separately in Photos. Some device identity and anti-abuse records may remain. You can ask us about access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing support@trickcam.cc. Rights depend on where you live. We may need enough information to verify your request and locate device-based records; we cannot identify every anonymous record from an email address alone. You can also contact your local data-protection authority.

Children and policy changes

TrickCam is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us. We’ll post privacy changes on this page and update the date above.
